"ABOUT JESUS CHRIST THE LORD"

  1. Jesus Christ is the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world.
  2. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, He is the only mediator between God and man.
  3. Jesus Christ has revealed to the entire human family God's loving character.
  4. Jesus was born of a virgin and died on the cross for the sins "of the whole world."
  5. Jesus rose from the dead after spending 3 days and 3 nights dead, as predicted in advance by the Scriptures.
  6. There will be "a resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust."
  7. The Word of God will judge us.

“ABOUT SALVATION”

  1. Eternal life is a free gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  2. A person is saved by faith in Jesus not by good works.
  3. Faith is trusting God to perform that which He has promised.
  4. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God.
  5. God desires all sinners to repent and be saved.
  6. We must be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  7. Believers in Jesus should be baptized by immersion.

“ABOUT A CHRISTIAN'S WALK ”

  1. All Christians have been given a personal ministry of reconciliation.
  2. Christians should not be conformed to this world but walk like a child of God should, "unspotted from the world."
  3. Christian’s show their love for God by keeping the His Commandments and having the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ.
  4. We should treat everyone with love and respect.
  5. Christians are commanded to preach the Gospel to every one, to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering.
  6. All the Law and Commandments can be summed up by Loving God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving your neighbor as you love yourself.
  7. Remembering the Sabbath to keep it Holy is still a Commandment in God’s Word and should be kept like any of the other nine commandments.

“ABOUT SIN ”

  1. Satan (a fallen angel), led Eve into sin.
  2. Those people who reject Jesus as their Lord will be condemned to Hell.
  3. All the lost will end up in "the lake of fire, which is the second death."
  4. The Antichrist of prophecy is "already in the world."

“ABOUT THE BIBLE”

  1. God’s Word is truth and came to man from God.

    Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

  2. God’s Word is pure and perfect. God preserves His Word.

    The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.

    Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

  7. The Word of God will judge us.

    Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

COMMENT: We believe that our God who created the universe and all it contains, our God who shows His majesty in the perfection and complexity of a single living cell, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, maker of Heaven and Earth, can preserve His Word through imperfect man as He has promised! We say this because we have faith in Him (we trust him to perform that which He has promised) and that is good enough for us. We hope and pray that it might be good enough for you. Trust His Word!

  • People who doubt the Word of God do not submit to it!
  • We believe the King James Bible is the perfect and pure Word of God.
  • The Bible is our final authority on all things that pertain unto life and godliness!

“ABOUT JESUS CHRIST THE LORD”

  6. There will be "a resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust."

  7. Jesus will not return secretly, but openly and visibly for all to see.

COMMENT: Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! No man can come to the Father and receive the gift of eternal life without accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

“ABOUT SALVATION”

  1. Eternal life is a free gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)   2. A person is saved by faith in Jesus not by good works.

    [ Ephesians 2:8-9 ]
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    [ Romans 10:9-10 ]
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  3. Faith is trusting God to perform that which He has promised.

    [ Romans 4:20-22 ]
    He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

  4. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God.

    [ Romans 10:17 ]
    So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  5. God desires all sinners to repent and be saved.

    [ Romans 2:4 ]
    Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

    [ 2 Peter 3:9 ]
    The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    [ 2 Timothy 2:24-25 ]
    And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

    And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

  6. We must be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit.

    That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

    Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

    Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost… Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

    And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. COMMENT: Salvation is a free gift from God to fallen man. It is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that we can receive it. As in any gift given to anyone, if you reject the gift it is not yours. The gift has to be accepted in order to be received.

“ABOUT A CHRISTIAN’S WALK”

    Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

    And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

  4. We should treat everyone with love and respect.

But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.     And he (Jesus) came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

    [ Acts 13:42-44 ]
    And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

COMMENT: We love God through obedience to His Commandments, we love men by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

    And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

  4. The Antichrist of prophecy is "already in the world."

    Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

    And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

COMMENT: Sin separates us from God. Just like in the Garden of Eden when they ran and hid from God, so do we when we reject the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ and hide in the darkness of our sin.
