Preaching In Las Vegas on New Years Eve

I had never been to Las Vegas before so, when I received an invitation to team up with the west coast Bible believers to preach on the Vegas strip New Years Eve, I was ready and willing. I arrived at LAX Thursday morning Reuben picked me up with Rod and David. We then picked up Robert and Sarah and headed to Las Vegas.

Larry Craft and I arrived in New Orleans around 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2007. We met Ruben Israel, Kevin, Dean, Grant, Tim, and David at Jesus Miracle Power Ministry.

Before I describe our trip I would hope that any Christian who has a burden for the lost could experience what we experienced on this trip. Those Christians who continue to make excuses (and there are many good reasons) why they cannot break free from their busy lives are robbing themselves of a tremendous experience of living a first century Christian experience.

The 17th Annual Gay and Lesbian Film festival was very different than last years event. While preaching the entire ten day event, we experienced less violence. There were only a few physical attacks, a headset was ripped from my head and stolen and my car was painted with sodomite slogans. The sodomites tried their best to ignore the preaching but my Thunder Power 1000 was able to cut through a city block of sodomites with a single vowel. It was one of the best investments I have made in audio enhancement for street preaching.

There is a place in Tampa called The Castle; it is a place where they openly glorify satanic behavior. They dress as vampires, devils, queers, Goths, and any other type of dress that would go against decency. It attracts locals who are curious to see why people would dress and act like this. Their curiosity leads to a devilish seduction to the dark side of sexual perversion and a slippery slope to a reprobate mind.

We have been going out to the Mons Venus strip club located in Tampa the last few weeks, sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the men going into the club, as well as the strippers, and Joe Redner, the owner of this particular strip club, and others in Tampa.

We arrived early Saturday morning, just before the parade. We lined up alongside the road they would begin on, and began preaching to everyone that was in the parade. We had some sodomites scream profanities at us, while screaming we were preaching hate. Plastic beads, water, and other things were thrown at us, and some people would push and bump into us, in an attempt to be intimidating.

Let me first say that this trip to Jamaica was life altering and affected me in such a positive way that my street preaching ministry will never be the same. It was quite an eye opener to see the sharp contrast between the people of the United States and Jamaica. I am not just talking about the differences in prosperity and poverty. I am talking about the respect Jamaicans have for the Word of God and Jesus Christ. Not just the Christians but the non-Christians also! Despite the lack of money and opportunity they are kind hearted, loving people who want to know the truth. They were not rude or disinterested but allowed us to share our faith with patience.

Tony and I were sitting in the office, talking about the illegal aliens that were going to protest that afternoon. There were supposed to be ten-thousand plus people there, and Tony was thinking about going over to it to take some pictures. I thought it would be a great place to share the Gospel, even though Tony said no one would speak English, so we drove out there together with our own agendas.

I went to Arizona to preach to the Mormons at night so during the day myself, Larry Craft, Lonnie, Jay and Ted would go to Arizona State and preach to the college kids. What a trip! The first day they are having a feminist event promoting abortion and disobedience. They had two phallic symbols on their table and would encourage kids to race to see who could put on a prophylactic the fastest.

At first glance Mormons appear to be very much like Christians. They profess to believe the Bible claim to love God and say they serve the Lord Jesus Christ. When I had decided to go to Mesa, Arizona to preach to the Mormons I wasnt sure what I was going say that they did not already know. I met up with a few street preachers; Larry Craft, Lonnie Pursifull, Ted and Jay, these guys gave me a crash course on Mormonism verses Christianity and helped me learn how to effectively share the Gospel with them.
I was to learn how devilish this false religion really was. I found out why Mormonism is so dangerous. It is because it takes on the appearance of Christianity but is in reality a devilish counterfeit.

I had an opportunity to go out witnessing with Larry Craft and some of his family members at the USF campus this February. What a blessing! Joanna was taking the pictures and handing out Bible tracts with Abigail and Elisabeth, while Josiah was holding a banner and witnessing. Larry preached and witnessed non stop.

I went up to the Super Bowl with my friend and street preaching mentor Larry Craft. Larry introduced me to a number of faithful servants of our Lord Jesus Christ who serve Him through the ministry of reconciliation. People like Kevin, Lonnie, Ron, Bruce, Mike, Pastor Holmes, Jim, Phil, Reuben and many other men who go to these events to proclaim the Gospel. They pay their own way and find their own accommodations. At this event Craig, a fellow street preacher opened up his house to about 7 or 8 of us, and he and his wife were such wonderful examples of Gods love and sufficiency. They treated us so kind and were so generous I can only hope to have the opportunity to somehow show my gratitude to them someday.

In Tampa, Gasparilla means boats, pirates, parades, and drunkenness. People fight for beads thrown by men dressed as pirates, women exposing their breast for the plastic trinkets. People use this festival as an opportunity to let loose and celebrate evil. This daytime Gasparilla parade drew approximately 500,000 men, women and children.
I wonder if the parents understand what they are taking there children too and encouraging them to celebrate. [ Read the Rest ] [ See Photos ]

- Some crazed guy lost control of himself when he heard the truth of God’s Word and tore up my banner. He rejected the light of God’s Word because he loved the darkness of his sin. They had vender booths set up so that we could purchase materials to help in our study of the many subjects taught at the conference. These ranged from dinosaurs to archeological discoveries, to Ica stones. Street Preaching in Memphis
Every year in Memphis, Tennessee they have a giant blues festival on Beale Street called, “Memphis in May.” Tens of thousands of people show up to listen to music, drink, and do all the other things that go with that type of event.
For a number of years a few Christians in that area have organized and invited Street preachers from all over the country to come together and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people who visit the festival on Beale Street. The weekend includes fellowship and workshops geared to enhance one’s ability to reconcile the lost to God. It was my first time there and I am very glad I went. Not only did I have an opportunity to share the gospel with the lost but, I was also able to meet some brothers and sisters in Christ who really love the Lord in word and deed.
Speaking Out Against Sodomites
I arrived at the County Commissioner's meeting early this morning to speak against allowing sodomite books in the public library. When I arrived I found a small number of sodomites organizing a rally in front of the building. I just sat there and listened to their rantings of deviant hypocrisy. They believe that if they make enough noise they will get their way. Kind of like a spoiled child who screams until his mother gives in.
I was getting upset but not just because of these apostate sodomites but because I did not see any of God's chosen, those who love the Lord Jesus Christ taking a stand against this abomination. These sodomites keep making noise and appear larger than they really are. They are a minority! Their movement is gaining momentum not because of what they are doing but because of the Christians lethargy, because of this Laodician church age we live in. These people are lost we Christians are given a ministry of reconciliation (reconciling the lost to God).
