Helping children who have no hope in Jamaica

While ministering in Jamaica over the last few years, we have gone to the most crime infested and poverty stricken areas on the island to preach the Gospel to the lost. In the course of working our ministry we have come in contact with the most precious children who live with no hope of succeeding in life due to their environment and poverty.

Some of these children are homeless or abused. Some have been abandoned by both their parents, but most have no father and are living in horribly hopeless poverty with a single mother who does not have the ability to care for them.

Some of these children, predominately the teenagers, are already in a life of prostitution or some other type of criminal activity because they see it as the only way they can survive.

We want to break this cycle and give these children a chance to be everything God wants them to be.

Our hope is to provide resources for these children and their parents to help them draw closer to God the Father of our living Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by traveling to Jamaica on Missions Trips, providing Bibles and other liturature for the edification of their soul.

James 2:14-18 says,

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

We are very aware that there is great need in many area's of Jamaica and helping children and their families with their basic needs (food, shelter) is a wonderful way to show the Love of God to them.

The Gospel house is set up to recieve donations for this specific purpose.

If you would like to help or join us on our next missions trip please feel free to contact us through email.
